    Very good

People at the reception were both professional and nice. Rooms are spacious

The breakfast really didn't meet our expectations. Room prices are rather expensive

    Fabulous

Very well positioned for site seeing centre of Bruges. Really enjoyed champagne breakfast.

Lack of Tea/coffee facilities in bedrooms. Pool is more a plunge pool than swimming pool.

    Superb

Loved this hotel! The people were helpful, the location was outstanding, very clean, great a/c, beautiful lobby. The breakfast was not exactly as we expected though. We have stayed at many European hotels and know what to expect, however all the reviews said it had an American style breakfast. Most everything was enjoyable, however the scrambled eggs were terrible and the hard boiled eggs were cold. If they could improve on this simple element, the hotel would receive a top-notch rating from us!

The breakfast eggs were uneatable, tasting like they had some sort of chemical in them...possibly an egg mix instead of real eggs. The hard boiled eggs were cold every morning.

    Superb

We loved our stay here and the greating from your talking and very intelligent parrot was a very warm welcome. We wish we could have stayed longer but were only passing for 1 night. Excellent location and lovely room for the price we got. We didnt eat the breakfast but it smelt lovely when we went down. We would certainly stay again Thank you Mr and Mrs Rullier, Cedrik and Zoe

    Fabulous

The location was perfect and really close to the market square. Our room was a superior double and big enough to have seperated bed room and a living room.

Bed's blankets were too old. Staff weren't az welcoming az imagined. Use of the shower was hard, since you had to hold it with one hand!!!

    Fabulous

The location is ideal only yards from the bustle of the city but still not noisy, the breakfast is more than ample although one can continue to eat until you have had your fill. The cost of the room plus parking is just under 150 euros a night which is quite high but the location no doubt adds to this and if you dont want to walk to far after a hard days shoppingbor sightseeing then its the price you have to pay, plus there is a swimming pool albeit not to big but still it has one. We have been there now 4 times and the staff have not changed which is a plus because they are all very pleasant and helpful. If we are fortunate to return toBrugge we will stay at the Acacia.

In terms of pleasure, comfort and location you cannot fault this hotel if I have one observation it would be I think the hotel could do with a bit of a face lift.

    Very good

The hotel was in a good location with easy access to sights and shopping The staff were always polite and helpful

The mis representation of the rooms available - what you see on the website for the hotel is not what you receive. The newly renovated rooms (this is what we were informed) are extremely uninviting and beige. It may suit some tastes but lacked colour. Luckily we were not going to be in the room much and did not want to be.

No ventilation in the bathroom although this may have been broken.

    Exclusive

We loved Coco the 28 year old talking African Grey parrot! He was very popular with all the guests and especially us! We also loved the hotel and staff as well as the lovely breakfasts and library. We would like to go back as soon as possible.

    We liked everything thank you.

    Very good

I thought the location of the hotel was excellent, as was the quality of the room. The parking facilities were very good, although 15 euros a day was expensive especially as i was already paying for a premium room.

I thought the breakfast was poor, I stayed for 3 nights and each day the cooked option was the same, scrambled egg & bacon with a boiled egg option. The toasters were very slow and guests were continually waiting, two choices of cereal cornflakes & muesli is not sufficient, and the water for the tea was not hot enough. I have stopped at numerous Best Western Hotels previously and the breakfasts have always been of a higher standard.

The Location and the Staff were the only things worth mentioning. The location was very convenient and the staff very friendly.

When I checked in my hotel room the room was very stark, completely out dated, the pillows hard as a rock; with now substitute pillows available. In addition, the toilet was not clean with remaining wast( to be kind) in it. The pool area was very poor, columns being held together at the bottom by duct tape and the wall paper was bubbling due to mold.

    Superb

A quiet centrally located hotel with helpful courteous staff. We will be happy to return there on a future visit.
